Abstract

Toshima Hospital became a Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN) partner institution in 2020. In 2022, clinical trainers at the hospital launched a fellowship programme to maximize opportunities for doctors to acquire international experience as well as fluency in English. The graduates are expected to apply for GOARN requests for assistance in the near future. This report describes the key components of the International Infectious Diseases Fellowship Programme.
